Pastor Peter Jenks arrived in Bennington, NE in 2004.  He grew up in western New York near Niagara Falls. After he married his wife (Mary Lou) they became active in First Baptist Church in North Tonawanda, NY and that’s when the Lord called him into the ministry.  He graduated from Spurgeon Baptist Bible College (Mulberry, FL) in 1982 and became a missionary with Fellowship of Baptists for Home Missions which has since transitioned into Baptist Church Planters (BCP).  The Lord has used him to rescue First Baptist Church in West Danby, NY and plant Harvest Baptist Church in Bath, NY which graduated in 2004.  Pastor Jenks has a dual role of Fields Director for BCP and Lead Church Planter of Bennington Baptist Church.  Peter and his wife have four children and eleven grandchildren.

Pastor Eric Wilmeth moved to Bennington, NE from central Iowa in March of 2008. He grew up in Indianola, Iowa and was a member of IndianolaRegularBaptistChurch. After graduating high school in 1995 he went to IowaStateUniversity for his undergraduate degree, graduating in December 1999. It was while Pastor Eric and his wife, Amy, were active at SlaterBaptistChurch (Slater, Iowa) that Pastor Eric felt led back to school and enrolled at Faith Baptist Theological Seminary (Ankeny, IA) where he earned a Master of Arts in Religion. Pastor Eric and his wife were married in 1998 and have three children.
